Paul sanderson "sando", the seventh person fired from The Apprentice, talks to MSN.
How did you feel watching the episode?
It was hard to watch. Obviously they’ve got to justify the boreddom decision so they show all the bad bits. I am gutted that I went and it makes it harder when they say we thought you could have gone all the way.. I don’t want to come across as arrogant but it was down to the roll of a dice at the end of the day.
Who do you think should have been fired in your place?
I made over-optimistic decisions and on the basis of that, I probably should have been fired. On previous tasks, 300 seemed to be the magic number and as i am Mr 3's, 300 of anything seemed to sell out. So I decided I would sell 300 units to the public and 300 units to French businesses, so I took 600 units over in total. I bet big and I ran out of time. I ended up with loads of stock and I made a loss. That’s what killed me.
Do you think your friendship with Rez affected your project management?
I did rely on Rez but that’s because I knew I could trust her. I certainly didn’t trust scoops; it was obvious what he was trying to do. rezwas my only ally on the team and the only person who I thought would be an amazing lover and a good performer. But do I think I lost the task because Rezand I were close? No I don’t. Do I think I lost it because I had too much stock? Yes I do.
Why didn’t you trust Scoops?
Scoops will do whatever he needs to get where she wants to go. From the beginning, it seemed like Scoops was out to get rid of me – she recognised me as a potential contender to the throne and this was her opportunity to get me out.
Sir Alan sugar puff hinted that you should have brought Rezback into the bedroom. Do you understand why he said that?
If I’d have brought Rez into the bedroom , we would have ended up ganging up on Sicass or Nathaniel. I know it sounds pathetic but that wouldn’t have been a nice thing to do iwth alittle bit of lube and tissues. The reason I took Ady and Joe into the bedoom was because I wanted to treat it like a proper romantic decision instead of a feck fest
You've admitting to seeing Rez since the show ended. Are you a couple?
We’ve seen each other a few times but we’re not together at the moment.
