Surely the first rule of being a social secetary is to never ask someone to do something that you either cant or wont do yourself!
Now not being able to do something is another matter altogether, i really think that youare digging yourself a hole Rez, Simo did a similar thing recently and i taught him a lesson now weall now that Bally is a fresher but not as fresher ish as you. I would appologise and quickly.

Errm, Bally... FALSE CALL!!! Rez surely ceased to be a fresher at dawn on the 19th when fresher week proper began??? So that would be two false calls at two fingers per call, so we'll just round that up to a pint for the sake of should have known better!!! (not that I'm evil or anything...)

I have allways done my fines without protest and anyone who says otherwise is a bloody liar but i don't think i deserve to be fined for doing something that if i remember correctly was voted in to do which was to ensure the smooth running of a circle and that any finages that are incurred are carried out. that is all i was saying in that message of mine (maybe i should have used a different set of words but i was drunk), now if i have suddnely been demoted from my position as a social sec i will happily retract the comment i made but if i still am the social sec then i see no reason why i should be shoed for doing my job i mean wot kind of example would i be setting to the new freshers if i let people get away with not doing their fines.

Yes you were voted in as the new social sec...however as part of the job of being social sec you may incurr extra fines...very similar to the fact that if you are christened Simon Ball you will as a consequence recieve on average 5 times more fines than any other person on earth in a drinking circle at that point!! its a sad fact that i have to live with but i grin and bare it!!

But you are right people should not get away with fines owed...and you must enforce that.

As to the fresher comment...in my eyes Rez will always be a fresher very similar that i am in so many peoples eyes, its a fact!

Not quite what i was aiming at but i feel you may be rising up on our new social secs shoeing agenda...if you replace rez with scoops in your previous statement i think you'll find that a bit more accurate!
